Ask me to describe myself and it might change slightly from one day to the next. At my core I am a communicator. That desire to communicate flows through into my fine art, design, and teaching. I seek to find the balance between complexity and clairity in the various forms information takes.
Since graduating from SUNY Oneonta with a Bachelor's degree in Studio Art and Design in 2009, I have both operated my own design business and worked in a digital media production company. In 2013 I returned to SUNY Oneonta as a faculty member to teach introductory computer art, web design, and advanced web design classes. In 2016 I moved from Oneonta, NY to the Albany, NY area to finish my Master's degree in Information Design and Technology from SUNY Polytechnic Institute. At that time I also began working for New York State as a visual, web, and educational designer. My design work and experience in web technologies can be seen across multiple state agencies and my technical training curricula and instructional videos have reached thousands of New York State public employees.
