One hundred coffee cups numbered 001-100. This project was one completed over the course of one week as the first project of the semester my junior year at SUNY Onenta. Sven Anderson has a way of motivating and setting the tone for a digital printmaking class. Some fell short of the challenge while others charged headfirst into it. One classmate painted a large single canvas with a cascade and layered arrangement of 100 mugs. Nothing in the project description said this wasn't allowed. Seeing that I kicked myself for not thinking outside the box like she did.
I learned two things from this project. Dedicate yourself to finishing what you start. And, look for creative loopholes.
